Lion Culture

Privacy Policy

Effective 26 August 2026

Monarchy Media LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates challenge.lionculture.io and The Visibility Challenge. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: [email protected], or Monarchy Media LLC, 650 Cleveland Street #2291, Clearwater, FL 33755.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Identifiers — name, email address, phone number where provided, billing address.
  • Payment information — card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We receive a transaction record, the card brand and the last four digits. We never receive or store full card numbers.
  • Commercial information — purchase history, instalment plan status, refund and deferral requests.
  • Content you submit — posts, messages and material you share in the private community, and questions you ask on live calls.
  • Audio and video — your image and voice, if you join a live call with your camera or microphone enabled.
  • Correspondence — the content of emails and support messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and interactions with the page.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.

Information from third parties

  • Transaction and fraud-prevention data from Stripe.
  • Aggregated campaign measurement data from advertising platforms.

2. How we use your information

  • To deliver the Programme you purchased and provide community access.
  • To process payments, manage instalment plans, and handle refunds and disputes.
  • To send transactional messages: receipts, call links, reminders, recordings and service notices.
  • To send marketing about our programmes, where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.
  • To respond to your enquiries and requests.
  • To measure, operate and improve our website and our advertising.
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

3. Legal bases (European Economic Area and United Kingdom)

We market to and accept participants from the EEA and the UK, so the EU GDPR and UK GDPR apply to that processing. We rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver a programme you purchased.
  • Consent — for marketing communications and for non-essential cookies and advertising technologies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for site security, fraud prevention, service improvement and defending legal claims, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping.

4. Advertising and cross-context behavioural advertising

We use advertising and measurement technologies from third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google. These allow those platforms to recognise visitors to our site and to measure, optimise and target advertising.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under California law this activity is nevertheless treated as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and comparable laws in other states treat it as targeted advertising.

You can opt out using the Your Privacy Choices link in our footer, or by enabling a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honour. Opting out does not stop you seeing advertising; it stops advertising being targeted using information collected here.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted without a right to limit.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf under written contract, and only for the purposes we specify:

  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Our email and CRM platform — transactional and marketing communications.
  • Our video conferencing provider — delivery and recording of live calls.
  • Our community platform — hosting the private community.
  • Our website, hosting and analytics providers — operating and measuring the site.
  • Advertising platforms — as described in section 4.

We may also disclose information where required by law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, property or safety of any person, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.

Other participants in your cohort will see what you post in the community and, if you enable your camera or microphone, will see and hear you on live calls and in recordings.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States and information you provide is processed there. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with supplementary measures where required.

7. How long we keep information

  • Account and transaction records — seven years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
  • Call recordings — twelve months from the date of the call.
  • Community content — deleted when the community closes or on request, subject to routine backups.
  • Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, after which we retain a suppression record indefinitely so that we do not contact you again.
  • Website and analytics data — twenty-six months.

8. Your rights

EEA and UK

You have the right to access your personal information; to have it corrected; to have it erased; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority, or with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

California

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and share; to access it; to delete it; to correct it; to opt out of sale or sharing; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.

Other United States jurisdictions

Residents of states with comparable privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana and others as they take effect, have similar rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out of targeted advertising, together with a right to appeal a refused request.

How to exercise a right

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will verify your identity before acting, which may require you to confirm information we already hold. We respond within the period required by the applicable law, and in any event within forty-five days. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal.

9. Children

The site and the Programme are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. These include encryption in transit, access controls, and use of reputable processors who maintain their own security programmes. No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change, and where changes are material we will notify you on the site or by email.
